And the standard “ we take this very seriously” response!!!
The correct response would be to reach out to me and either tell me why I am DNR’d or drop the DNR!
Wow...what a company! Aimbridge Hospitality, who owns this particular ESA....man, if you even attempt to have a rational conversation with the GM Cody about being overcharged, or the roach infestation, or the $100 deposit that you never get back....expect to be DNR'd (Do Not Rent) from ALLLLL of ESA properties, for alll the rest of time!!!..judging by all the comments there’s a lot of people who lost deposits and got DNR’d for asking where their money went…Which, for a guy who has had long term business stays at ESA's in Kansas, Vegas, Ohio, California, Florida, Arkansas, New Mexico, who ALWAYS pays on time, is quiet and polite, doesn't smoke and cleans up after himself...in other words, exactly what you want in a hotel guest!!!!
So back in 2022 I stayed at this Extended Stay on Quivira Road in
Overland Park while receiving treatment for Stage 4 cancer at the local Veterans Admin Hospital. I had stayed here before in 2019, loved it...Have been a client of Extended Stay America for over 13 years...for business. Came to this location, had to deal with the GM Cody and the Asst. Manager Ashley....had issues with everything from overcharging me to reservation issues to the bedbugs and cockroaches that apparently everyone who stays here deals with...dealt with the heavy smell of smoke in the hallways, not a damn thing done. Apparently Aimbridge has it's own set of rules which totally go against ESA's policies....anywayyyy, sent numerous emails, had numerous conversations with Cody and Ashley, never got any resolution to the deposit refund or the overcharging or the cleanliness issues.
And right in the middle of getting radiation treatment at the VA, Cody wouldn't extend my reservation, even though I got emails from Extended Stay America asking me if I wanted to extend my stay....wow.
So, I packed up, went to another hotel and wrote a long email to the folks in charge at Aimbridge and ESA. The District Manager reached out, thought we had it all worked out until recently, when I had to go back for more cancer treatment, so went to an Extended Stay in Cleveland, found out I was DNR (for you folks who dont know, as I didn't know...thats DO NOT RENT!) Wow. Classy.
Reached out to Cody, the GM, reached out to the new Regional Manager, reached out to ESA and Aimbridge multiple times....no response.
