Front desk clerk really is awesome Mrs. Latricia helped me set up a new reservation and also informed me about staying longer because that's where you get a great rate! Very clean atmosphere and great workers will definitely recommend people to stop and stay!

This motel is located in the hood. If you make a reservation and leave prior to your reservation ending this place will charge you. The police are there every day sometimes multiple times a day. This motel is not safe to bring your family, there is homeless people that walk around asking for money, there have been several shootings, people breaking in to peoples cars. The general manager doesn't trust anyone, he might as well call everyone a liar. Furthermore asking guests to write a review after a few days of staying there, very unprofessional! Charles had to fix a guest TV after he finished he told the guest that " this deserves a review" The rooms are dirty, the housekeepers don't come in till later morning and do half asked job. One housekeeper said " no one better talk to me today" we stayed at this rouch infested for two months, it was horrible! The housekeeper came to our room once and I pretty much had to beg her. She will be nice and call you "love" till you ask her to clean your room. The elevator isn't certified and works half the time if at all. The maintenance man hates his job and it shows! He put a microwave in our room because the hanging microwave wasn't working correctly. When I went to fathom to let him know that he gave us a microwave that was dirty and had mold in it. At that point Charles came in our room took the "new" microwave cleaned it then proceeded to blame me because the microwave has medal showing. Charles got upset because I didn't say at sooner. It isn't my job to make sure everything is in working order, that is up to the housekeepers and maintenance witch are both very lazy! It doesn't matter what needs to be done if it's 4pm Charles leaves and expects the lady to work the front desk and clean rooms. So upon arrival there usually isn't any one in the office, Everytime I came down to get towels or bedding no one was hardly there. Charles got upset with me because I got sick of waiting to get clean stuff so I started putting my dirty stuff on the floor behind the desk. Well, if your housekeepers did there job that wouldn't be an issue. They use the same cleaning products we would but we can't use there products because (insert excuse here) it was always something!
Dana DESERVES a raise! Hands down by far the BEST worker and I feel Charles takes advantage of that.
The beds are uncomfortable. I personally asked Charles to have his housekeeper to flip our mattresses and his response was " it's not heavy, you can do it" He told me that you can't work there and stay there but he has two people living there that both work there.
I could go on and on about how horrible this motel is. Don't believe me, please read the other reviews.
Rooms are nasty! The manager thinks everyone is a liar! The housekeepers are lazy! There's nothing good about staying here. As the rates are low it may seem worth it but honestly, it's not! If you don't mind sleeping in a bed that's uncomfortable, bug infested, the police are always there, shootings almost daily. This place is right up your alley.
10 out of 10 NOT RECOMMENDED!
NOT SAFE AREA TO BE IN.

Y’all this place looks good online but when you get there it’s a whole different world. The first weekend I was supposed to stay there and I had a job there 3 hours from home. Made my reservation a few days ahead of time and did everything right and got the confirmation number and everything. I called the day I was coming there and a lady claiming to be the manager canceled my reservation and gave it to someone else. I did nothing wrong to deserve that. I made a reservation there just like everyone else. I wasn’t there to even gamble. I was there to work my job. I was begging her not to do that because it was the only hotel room left in Gulfport and I had a job to do down there. She hung up on me because I was begging her and crying telling her I had a job to do and if she canceled my reservation, I would lose my job that weekend but she hung up and did not care. I called back and she didn’t answer. Very unprofessional and makes this place look bad. I was already in Gulfport me and my little dog and I had to work eight hours and drive three hours back home because I had nowhere to stay that night. I had to finish my job the weekend after as well because I couldn’t finish it in 8 hours. I called and spoke to the general manager (Charles) and he was very nice and gave me a free night stay because of my inconvenience, but it was a very large inconvenience because I had to drive to Gulfport twice (gas money and time) and the day she canceled my reservation, I had to drive home a long ways and almost fell asleep driving home. Got home at 3 am. Well the second weekend I did get to stay but as I was going in my room, I was scared to bring my dog in there because they were little mites and bugs all the windows. The shower was disgusting and had hair all in it. The floor had a dead roach on it. She moved me to the room across the hall which was a little better. But the refrigerator didn’t work. I didn’t feel like changing rooms again so I just stayed and told her it’s ok. I brought my skin care fridge on my trip thank goodness and had a place to put my drinks and dogs food while there. The 1st room stunk like an ashtray and they still made me pay for a second night. I slept in full clothing with tights and a long sleeve shirt and had to bring my own blanket because I was scared to sleep in that bed, their blankets had hair all in it so the blankets don’t get washed in between stays. Gross! I was miserable the whole time but I had to finish my stay because of my job and nowhere else to go. The lady named Dana is very sweet and welcoming. She is the only thing that made my stay better. She’s a very hard worker and can’t do it all. The other employees must be slacking because she for sure does her job and tries to make my stay better for me. Thank you Dana. I probably would’ve left had it not been for her. She deserves a big raise running that place.
I noticed a lot of people there were there just to have get together or party and the place is not very lit up outside and doesn’t feel safe at all because people are walking around outside all night. I was scared to even take my dog out walking late at night to use the bathroom. I had to wear my protection on my belt going out as a female alone in the dark walking my dog I had several men trying to speak to me as I ignored them and got back inside quick as possible. They have people all around that place outside in the parking lot at night time and hardly any lighting. That will be the only time I ever stay there and next time I will be glad to spend the extra money to stay at a decent/safe/clean hotel. People sleep here and want it to be inviting and clean. Get it together
