Decorate Your Extended Stay Hotel Room for Halloween

Celebrate this spooky season with these budget-friendly decorations for your extended stay hotel room.

  1. Fill a candy bowl. Buy an inexpensive festive candy bowl or fill a cereal bowl in your kitchen with candy or other Halloween trick-or-treat goodies.
  2. Hang spooky hand towels. Buy Halloween hand towels to use in your fully equipped kitchen. This decoration is a mess-free, useful and reusable way to decorate for the holiday every year!
  3. Place window clings. Make your room stand out by placing festive Halloween window clings on your windows. These decorations are affordable and are fun for kids to help put up!
  4. Get spooky with spider webs. Buy a bag of fake spider webs from the store and drape them inside your hotel room to make the room spooky! If you want to go the extra mile, you can also get plastic spider rings and place those on the webs.
  5. Decorate a foam pumpkin. Want the look of a decorated pumpkin without the mess? Get a foam or plastic pumpkin and draw a face on it with permanent markers. This not only saves you a big mess later on, but also makes the decoration reusable and full of memories for years to come!

If you’re staying at a hotel for an extended period of time, it’s important that you don’t miss any of the big moments. Make your hotel room at Extended Stay America feel like home by decorating for your favorite holidays. We hope your Halloween is happy and we will be back with another holiday decoration blog post in a few weeks! STAY tuned.
