- Quesadillas
Ingredients:
- Tortillas
- Shredded cheese
- Sour cream (optional)
- Mild sauce (optional)
- Vegetable oil
Directions: Prepare the pan by spraying or coating with a thin layer of vegetable oil or butter to keep the tortillas from sticking to the pan. Put the pan on the stove over medium heat. Put a tortilla flat in the center of the pan. Sprinkle a thin later of shredded cheese all over the tortilla, then immediately place another tortilla on top of the cheese. Cook lightly until the bottom side of the tortilla is cooked to your liking and the cheese starts to melt, then flip the quesadilla to the other side and cook to your liking again. Once it is cooked to your liking, remove the quesadilla from the heat, cut into pieces and serve with sour cream, mild sauce or plain. Enjoy!
- Sloppy Joes
Ingredients:
- Sloppy Joe sauce
- Ground meat (beef or turkey)
- Bread of your choice
Directions: Cook ground meat on a pan over medium heat until brown throughout and thoroughly cooked. Once thoroughly cooked, drain excess grease with paper towel and throw excess grease in trash. Add Sloppy Joe sauce to the pan and mix over low heat until warmed. Serve the mixture on bread and voila!

Ingredients:
- Bread of your choice
- Beefsteak tomato
- Iceberg lettuce
- Bacon
- Mayonnaise (optional)
Directions: First, cook the bacon over medium heat on a pan on the stove. Cook until browned on both sides, turning halfway through. Beware of grease splatter. Once bacon is fully cooked, remove from heat and pat the excess grease off with paper towels. Then, take your bread and cover one side in mayonnaise (optional). Wash your tomato and lettuce and slice the tomato. Then layer the tomato, lettuce and bacon evenly on the bread and put a final piece of bread on top.
Important note: Do not put the bacon grease down the drain. Wait until the grease becomes thick and white in the pan, then scrape it into the trash can with paper towels. If bacon grease goes down the drain, it will clog the pipes.

Lemon-sauteed shrimp
Ingredients:
- Shrimp
- Lemon
- Rice
- Vegetable oil
- Salt
Directions: If shrimp is frozen, wait until it thaws. If shrimp is not frozen, pat shrimp dry and add to a greased pan over medium heat. Cut up a lemon and squeeze over the shrimp to your liking. Add salt and pepper to your liking. Cook the shrimp for about 2 minutes per side of until opaque and thoroughly cooked, flipping halfway. Cook instant rice by boiling equal parts water, then adding equal parts rice and turning off heat while covering pot. Once water is absorbed in rice, serve on a plate and top with the shrimp. Squeeze additional lemon over the top to taste.

Eggs in a basket
Ingredients:
- Eggs
- Bread
- Butter
- Salt
Directions: First, butter the number of pieces of bread you’d like on both sides, then add to a pan over medium-to-low heat, flipping halfway. Once the bread is slightly browned, remove from heat. Then add a sliver of butter to the empty pan and add an egg or two (without breaking the yolk). Cook over medium heat until the whites of the yolk aren’t clear or runny, flipping halfway. Salt to your liking. Then, cut a hole in the center of your bread and serve the egg in the hole. Enjoy your eggs in a basket!
